According to Edward Carmines, an IU political scientist, the answer is probably not. It had some effect, but probably not so much that Obama would have won if the pompous blowhard hadn’t tried to subvert the primary. The operation is over, anyway; he’s calling off the dogs:
But Limbaugh called off the operation yesterday, saying he wants Obama to be the party’s pick, because “I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees.”
He added: “He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that.”
“Wealthy academics?” So that is where CPA gets all his money! Wanna get rich, kids? Get a PhD and teach at a state university.
